Little Gold Mine: posemaniacs

I found something last weekend.
It's a great anatomy resource site.
I'm not sure if students have already pointed it out..
But I am posting it up anyway!
It's for people who don't have the greater access to life drawing etc.
But I see it a great place to practice examples just on the go,or sketching.
There are heaps and heaps of great references.

The site is:  http://www.posemaniacs.com/

  1. Great resource. Good post.

An important thing I like about life drawing is that it is away from a computer monitor.

If you need to double chack an idea for a key pose. Posemaniacs is s good resource.

  2. This is very good for students and a resource for any artist. I agree with Frank that it is good to sketch and learn proportions and pose from real life and away from the anti-social computer, ha ha. There's heaps of good local Life Drawing classes if any students are interested in them, there are a few around South Bank, Griffith QCA and West End etc. :)
